Are You Sure You Don't Need a Virtual Assistant?

Thinking about the post that our CEO wrote today about organizing your workspace, I began to clean up my office. But then it hit me, this is something that everyone should do, but no one really wants to do it. This is why some people hire others to get the job done instead of themselves. But what about the emails and spam folders and the bookmarks, and the inbox of all your accounts, and your hard drive and----you see? Some things your maid can't do. So guess who can? Your Virtual Assistant can effortlessly get those things done! Key Virtual would only charge a few dollars to clear the clutter. Come on now guys, I don't mean a few dollars literally, but I do mean cheap.

What your VA will do:

Clear your unimportant emails (You will discuss with your VA what you consider important and what you don't, they will never do anything that you don't want them to do. This also consists of deleting spam and clearing your spam folder)

Organize your emails (Your VA will create, edit and delete folders so that you are organized to where you are most productive)

Provide you with our Get Organized List for two months (This will give you something to do each day that will enhance your life by staying organized and tips that will help you live a balanced life each day)

Create space on your hard drive (Clear temp folders, delete unused and unnecessary folders, clear up space on your system etc.)

The Clear-the-Clutter package costs $29.99! Yup, that's it! No matter how long it takes, it will only cost you that price. But guess what, until January 29th, it will cost $25.00 flat!

If you'd like to add on extra things, then please add it in when you request your FREE quote. A couple extras that you may need your VA to do is create and manage your organizational systems, and database management. If you decide you do not want any extras, then when you request your quote, the total price will remain $29.99 or $25.00 if you order by the 29th. Tip of the Week >> Get Organized!

So, you have a busy life and it seems like all you ever do is MULTI-TASK! I know, been there, and do that. But sometimes you have to say ok, enough is enough, and get back to the basics. Things flow much smoother when you have peace and tranquility. One of the easiest and one my most favorite, is organizing! Yes guys, this means de-cluttering your workspace. I know you have so much to do, but trust me, it's a big help when you get it done. When everything is put and thrown away, you'll be able to sit back, relax, and take a deep breath---and I'll say, "I told you so!" :)

So, a lot of times people WANT to organize their workspace, but they just don't know where to start. So, I put together a few steps to make this a little easier. When you follow these steps, you'll be done in no time!

1. GET RID OF THINGS THAT YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANT AND DON'T NEED!
Stop and look around you. I'm sure you can spot out some things that you know you don't need and that you don't even want! Take care of that mess first. It's the easiest part of organizing your space. This can be old scrap papers, even wrappers to candy and chocolate. Toss it!

2. GET RID OF THINGS YOU CAN NO LONGER USE!
Yes, I know you want to use that coupon for BOGO, but it expired two weeks ago! Get rid of all things that have expired and are outdated. These things are definitely clutter and easily pile up. Toss it!

3. LET GO OF THE MESSAGES!
Empty your spam folders, and delete email messages and voice-mail messages that you no longer need. I know it's "important" but trust me, it's not THAT important, and if it was important, why is it dated April 2008? A lot of times I find that I hold on to emails and messages that I feel I can use but at the end of the day, I know deep down inside if it were deleted, I wouldn't miss it. Toss it!

4. GET RID OF THE ANONYMOUS!
Oh, you don't know what it is? You forgot what it meant? Trust me when I say, if you can't find a purpose for it and you don't know what it means, it's much better to... Toss it!

5. GET RID OF THINGS THAT EFFECT YOU NEGATIVELY!
So, you still have that picture in the nice frame on your desk? The one with you and your ex-husband that cheated on you and left you for that younger, sexier girl? Please, do yourself the favor and toss it! Yes, you two are friends now and the picture was one of your favorites, but if you think about it, I'm sure every time you look at the picture, you get depressed, sad, and a whole bunch of other negative feelings that cause you to become less productive. You don't need to hold on to anything that hurts you or makes you feel a bad way. This could be the chocolate bars you have for other people to eat but you can't eat them---anything! You know what it is so please... Toss it!

So, when you complete these steps, hopefully you can see your desk calendar now and be able to actually use your desk! Feel free to share your clutter stories and give some feedback.

So, October 2009 Key Virtual has jumped off to a surprising start but still needs a LOT of work. Our main focus is promotion and marketing. We need to spread the word about the amazing services we provide because it will be greatly beneficial to EVERYONE, especially in the United States. We are going through rough economic times and sadly a person's first thought about hiring our assistants usually will be that they can't afford it. It surprises me so much that now, it's expected.

What most people don't know, is that hiring our VAs can actually SAVE them money and time, two of the most valued assets today and probably forever. Another thing most people don't realize is that our services are not limited to businesses and professionals. Our services can be for anyone whether its the college student, the store clerk, the librarian, or the next door neighbor!
